Yeah. Trendy. Apparently all hardneck varieties grow scapes, per the interweb information tubes. Even the mystery garlic I bought at a store and stuck in the ground. And a scape? It's just the garlic flower, but it sounds hipper, I guess, if you call it a scape.
My camera is in hiding, as is my phone. My phone's location you probably don't care about, but I can't give you any pictures of my newly plucked scapes and green beans. I think I'm going to saute them together. I have shrimp from trader joe's too. I think it'll be a delicious lunch.
