March: Things I'm looking forward to

I can't believe it's March already. Easter's almost here. But first... Saint Patrick's! The patron saint of justifying your drunkenness. sigh Looking forward to: Reading some Irish myths to Isobel. Coloring food green. I haven't done this in years. Once upon a time, I to put green dye in my siblings' oatmeal. I'm not sure if they look upon that fondly or not, but hopefully they do. For the record, I'm not a big fan of food dye, but once in a ... green moon it's ok. Making more costumes for Isobel. Part of me can't wait 'til she really gets into dressing up, and part of me doesn't want her to ever get any older. More flowers blooming! Bring it on, spring time!  Growing potatoes for the first time. I hear homegrown potatoes are the bomb.
I have a Gurney's catalog and I'm trying to decide if I'm into ordering 50 bucks worth of plants from them to get 25 dollars off my order.  There's some cool stuff in there, but I'd rather buy stuff locally or from Territorial Seeds.

Why is it okay to stereotype the Irish, but not any other ethnic group. Just sayin.

Sorry, mom. I didn't say it very well. Not an excuse for the drunkenness of the Irish, but an excuse for the drunkenness of people in general, especially visible on college campuses.
In summation, the Irish are no more or less drunk than anyone else and I did not mean to imply that.
